Fancy a cold swim on Christmas Day in Dublin Bay?

This was hundreds of brave people do and have done for over a hundred years on Christmas Day.
They take part in the "Forty Foot" jump/dive/swim at Sandycove south of Dublin, close to the famous Jame Joyce Tower. We have posted a few ohotos on the page entitled "Dublin at Christmas".
Find out more here and take a look at the photos of those brave people. There was a lot of Ice about on December 25th 2009 and the sea was very cold. A good excuse to have a drink of Bushmills, Jameson or Paddy whisky after jumping in, or even watching!
